Ready? Okay!!

Okay...so things have been a LITTLE busy around here lately!!  After my last post, things have been a whirlwind.  My sister-in-law, Rachel, got married to her sweetheart.  A long time family friend got married and I sang in the wedding.  And -- as some of you know, David is gone for the Summer and I've moved in with my parents (I know, the wuss that I am).  It's been a transition for sure, but I am so thankful to have them to help me!! 

Before David left for the Summer, we did get to spend a little Beach time together with some of our friends who graciously offered to share their place with us.  It was Wyatt's first time at the beach and we had a blast at St. Simon's with everybody!!  Here's just a little recap.  Sadly...NONE are of the beach!!  What??

 On our way to St. Simon's, there was an OLD gas station.  Kind of a fun place to stage some pics.

  This is a place called Bennie's Red Barn.  We went here for supper and just had a great time!!!

 ...didn't like the goggles as much, but preferred the pool to the beach!!  Check out the lathered bits of sunblock on his little shirt.  The first day we were there, he got a little sunburn on his head.  Poor baby...fair skinned like his Mommy!!

That was just a little bit of our "farewell trip".  David will come home on Friday only to leave Saturday to be at Camp Hope for the week.  We will join him Thursday and then be home for about a day and a half before he leaves again to go up North for another 3 weeks or so!!  We will miss him dearly!!
