So, it's been about 2 weeks since the last blog. Our little "Goobie" is now 7 months!!! I cannot believe it. He's SO big now. He sits on his own and reaches for things and plays well by himself. He's a little cuddle bug, too. Mornings are my favorite. He gets up and then we cuddle for a couple of minutes before he's UP and ready to GO!! Go where...I don't know!!! He has now figured out how to turn over on his stomach from his back and now sleeps on his stomach...a bit scary! He doesn't sleep with a blanket anymore now for that reason. The only bad thing is that he can turn onto his stomach, but can't turn back. A couple of nights ago, I heard him fussing on the monitor. I went in and he was on his stomach propped up on his front arms and just fussing as if to say, "Mommy, help me please!!" He's the light of our life.
David has started back going into the office now that Summer is over and we've had to find some full time care for Wyatt. That was such a source of worry and anxiety for us. We prayed so hard that the Lord would send the perfect person. And sure enough...He answered our prayer!! Wyatt now stays with Mrs. Tammy Sutton at her little home daycare 4 days a week - Monday through Thursday. Either David or I are home with him on Fridays. It's good for Wyatt because he is able to be around some other children as he is a little curious fella. I feel very comfortable with leaving him there and know that she will take good care of him. He's already got a little girlfriend named Kate!!!
On a side note...just want to offer a bit of encouragement. I've never been a great prayer warrior, but have most recently tried to make a better effort at keeping up with prayer requests. I will forever be a listmaker and love the "memo" feature on my blackberry. It's wonderful for the OCD in me!! I have recently started a prayer request list, which led to a praise list!! It is so neat to see the Lord work! The list is not one so I can keep tabs on the Lord, but one that is teaching me how faithful God is in our lives. He is with us in all aspects of our lives and is definitely in the details!!! What a might God we serve!!! Until next time...
